What are the different voting options available to residents of Pennsylvania?
Residents of Pennsylvania can vote on Election Day, during the Early Voting period, and can also request an absentee ballot.

When is Election Day this year?
Election Day is November 8, 2022. Polls open at 7:00am and close at 8:00pm. You have the right to vote as long as you are registered to vote, and arrive at your designated polling place before 8:00pm.

Do I need a photo ID to vote?
Only first-time voters need a photo ID to vote in the state of Pennsylvania.

The Early Voting period allows voters to cast their ballot before Election Day. Early Voting In Pennsylvania runs until November 1, 2022.

How do I request an absentee ballot? What is the deadline to request it?
All registered voters in Pennsylvania can request an absentee ballot and vote by mail.

How do I vote by mail? What is the deadline to send the absentee ballot?
Absentee ballots can be returned in-person to your county’s Early Voting centers or at your county’s Election Board. Additionally, absentee ballots can be mailed and must be postmarked no later than November 8th.

I’m in the military and live overseas, can I vote?
If you are a Pennsylvania resident in active duty in the military and live outside of the country, you may request an absentee ballot using the Federal Postcard Application (FPCA) portal.
