US Citizens that are Georgia residents and will be at least 18 years of age on Election Day.

Residents of Georgia that are 17 1/2 years of age may pre-register to vote, but cannot participate in an election until they turn 18.

What is the deadline to register to vote in Georgia?

The voter registration deadline is 30 days before the day of the election.

What does it mean to pre-register to vote?

Residents of Georgia can pre-register to vote as soon as they turn 17 1/2 years old. Pre-registered voters may not participate in an election until they turn 18.

Can I register to vote after October 11?

No, if you don't register to vote before October 11, 2022 you won't be able to vote in the November elections.

How do I register to vote by mail?

Voters can request an absentee ballot to vote by mail. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is October 28, 2022. 

The vote by mail application can be completed in one of the 3 following ways:

2. By calling your county's Elections Office

3. In paper (email, fax, scanned attachment by email)
